The Chamber Orchestra of Pittsburgh, in collaboration with the Tapestry series at the First Unitarian Church of Pittsburgh, is pleased to announce its upcoming concert, Sounds of Youth. This concert will be the first in our 2017-18 season.
We’re thrilled to keep collaborating with some of the finest soloists, composers and performers in Pittsburgh!
Sunday, November 19th, 4pm – Sounds of Destiny
Our second concert of the 2017-18 season will feature pieces that try to make sense of it all! We will be presenting Brahm’s epic Schicksalslied and Pittsburgh composer Nancy Galbraith’s Gloria in collaboration with Voces Solis. Also on the program are Arthur Honegger’s Pastorale d’été and Symphony No. 22 “The Philosopher” by Haydn
